For Further Pursuit

Step by step, we add to what we know about people. In this project, you learn something of a tradition context, follow that by putting faces with names, and stories with those faces. You can learn more about their traditions (their writings, their riuals, their death and mourning customs, and so on). But there is always more.

By clicking on the "Further Pursuit" button, you have access to audio pieces called "Engagement Challenges," in which Liz Smith and Tom Shoemaker raise up hundreds of questions that arise from the traditions. You will also find links to outside media, from National Public Radio, the BBC, MSNBC and more.
